“Art and the Urban Garden” Celebrates Lillstreet Artists

The current exhibition Art and the Urban Garden displays artistic creations that embrace nature within the urban environment. A number of the works, which range from beautifully rendered birdbaths to botanical machines measuring temperature data, come from the talented teachers, monitors, and students at Lillstreet Art Center. These artists include: Adam August, Karen Avery, Ruby Barnes, Fred Follansbee, Mary Fox,  Jeff Grunewald, Robin Power, Charles Snow, Debbie Solomon, Peter Vale, and Norbert White.  We are excited to see their creativity and skill in an exhibition dedicated to the local natural beauty found within the Chicago cityscape.
