**DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MARCH 8** Call for Entry - Chicago Chandeliers Lillstreet Gallery is seeking entries for "Chicago Chandeliers - A collection of earrings from Chicago-based Metalsmiths" -- a juried show to run May 19 - June 7, 2019. This exhibition will be juried by Pam Robinson and Abby Rosen and is scheduled in conjunction with SNAG Chicago 2019. Entries must be statement earrings with a retail price between $100-300, representing your perspective as a Chicago-based artist. Tony Passero Flying Fish October 5 - November 10 Lillstreet Art Center Rooftop Flag Exhibition  This colorful collection of flags was originally designed as a mural concept, but evolved to something higher.  In the final piece, we experience the juxtaposition of fish in the sky as we welcome the fish to Lillstreet's Rooftop Gallery. Created by blending cultural references into a unique style, the flags bear a message that the sky is sister to water, and our care for both is equally paramount.

Title: Swell Artist: Katie Coughlin Dates: August 24 - September 29 Exploring the ways cloth can morph from two-dimensional material into three-dimensional form, these flags translate from one to the other through the introduction of volume. Using seamlines and light to define form, they sit as two pairs — each duo comprised of a flat flag and a volumetric flag.
